EVER HAD THAT "SOMETHING'S MISSING" FEELING?

In the Bible, Colossians 1:16 says "All things were created by Him and for Him." Jesus is the Son of God and you were created by Him and for Him. If you don't have Jesus you have a hole in your heart - as Plumb sings, "there's a God-shaped hole in all of us". Jesus loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to give you life, life to the full and life forever.

WHY IS HE MISSING?

Isaiah 59:2 says "But your iniquities have separated you from your God, your sins have hidden His face from you"
God created you with the freedom to make your own choices. You were created to live God's way and obey Him but you have disobeyed and chosen to live for yourself. That is what sin is and that is why you are separated from God. The debt you cannot pay.
Sin left you owing a huge debt, a bill that is unpayable.
 Romans 3:10 "There is no one righteous, not even one."
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death"
Some people think they don't need to pay the fine, others think their good works are enough to cover the debt Romans 3:23 says differently "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God"

CAN YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?

Yes, Jesus Christ has paid the debt. He became human, lived on earth and was perfect. He deliberately gave His life on the cross, paying the penalty for sin. He therefore made it possible for you to have a relationship with Him.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
 1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God."
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us."

HOW CAN YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?

You must ask Jesus to forgive your sins, cleanse you from them and give you power to overcome them. You must trust Jesus completely to rescue you, accepting His payment for your sin and putting all your Hope in Him.

In Revelation 3:20 Jesus tells us, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

1.       Admit your need (I am a sinner).

2.       Ask for forgiveness from your sins and be willing to turn from them

3.       Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

4.       Speak to Jesus and ask Him to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. Receive Him as Lord and Saviour.

Just speak to Jesus from your heart. Here are some words that may help you: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as Lord and Saviour. In Jesus name. Amen

Ephesians 2:8,9 tells us "For it is by Grace you have been saved, through Faith -and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no man can boast."
